JIM HICKS
Jim is the founder of RCS Sports which hosts some of the largest scholastic and non-scholastic events in Texas including the "Spring Ice Breaker" and "Season Opener". Hicks is an active member of the selection committees for the Guy V. Lewis Award and the prestigious National Basketball Players Association (NBPA) Top 100 Camp. Previously, Hicks worked with the staff, as a talent evaluator at the very distinguished camp, "Nike Hoop Jamboree" (now known as "Elite 100"). Over the years, Hicks has secured invaluable relationships with hundreds of college coaches, on all levels. When Hicks speak, they listen!
The website RcsSports.com serves as a must stop for parents, players & the majority of coaches (on the college and high school level) seeking to get updated news and opinions about the culture. Also, Rcs Sports publishes the nation's largest High School Basketball magazine conveniently titled, "Da Magazine". This publication is released every November.
For the past 19 years, Hicks has graced Houston's television airwaves every weekend during the hoop season as the in-studio analyst on the award winning show, "High School Sports Zone".

ABOUT ME
RICK NELSON
Rick has an abundance of expertise which includes; player evaluation, recruiting, interpersonal skills development, and digital content strategy and creation.
Mr. Nelson has over 20 years of business experience, jump starting his career as Founder and Director of Houston Elite Grassroots, one of the top full-service sports performance and player development programs in the country. At the grassroots level, Mr. Nelson trained hundreds of Division I basketball athletes, 17 professional NBA and overseas players, and top national high school recruits including Tim Frazier, Gerald Green, and Jarred Vanderbilt. He also founded Nelson Brand Sports, an event management and marketing company that partnered with Reebok and adidas basketball on high school programming. Plus, he hosts signature events such as the Texas Youth Basketball League (TYBL), Texas Jamboree & The Pearland Classic.
Mr. Nelson has additionally spent over two decades serving his community through sports events and management. He produced events for undeserved kids through the Harris County Department Education, and Urban League organization. He currently works in the education school system and as a professor at Houston Community College. Plus, he operates a Fresh Start Sober Living Home which consists of an alcohol and drug free sober living environment for the recovering population. In 2020, Mr. Nelson co-founded, Exquisite Elite Kleaning; a company that specialize in maintaining sanitizations at youth events in the Austin, Dallas & Houston areas.
Mr. Nelson attended Texas College where he played NAIA basketball and won two consecutive NAIA National Championships. He transferred to Prairie View A&M University and earned a bachelor's degree in Psychology and a Master's in Counseling. Mr. Nelson is also a certified Professional Life Coach.
